What cookies and similar storage are

Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. Websites can also store small amounts of information in your browser's local storage and session storage, which work in a similar way. This page lists everything this site stores, what it does and how long it lasts.

Changing your choice

The site only uses optional analytics if you allow it in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer. If you allowed analytics and then reject it, the page reloads so the analytics script stops. You can also delete cookies and site data through your browser's settings.

Necessary storage

These are needed for the site to work or to remember a choice you have made. They do not track you across other sites.

NameSet byWhat it doesHow long it lasts
wbw_consentThis site (local storage)Remembers whether you allowed or rejected optional analytics, so the banner does not ask againUntil you change your choice or clear your browser data
wbw_attrThis site (session storage)Remembers the first page you landed on, the site that referred you and any campaign tags, so they can be attached to a form you send during this visitUntil you close the tab
wbw_adminThis site (cookie)Keeps the site owner signed in to the back end. Only set when someone signs in at /admin/12 hours, or when they sign out

Optional storage

Analytics: no analytics tool is in use at the moment. Nothing optional is set unless you allow it in the banner. If a tool is switched on, its cookies will be listed here with their names, purposes and lifetimes before it goes live.

What the site does not do

It does not set advertising cookies, it does not load fonts or scripts from third parties before you make a choice, and it does not keep copies of anything you type into the form in your browser. What happens to a form once you send it is covered in the privacy policy.
